Robert L. McCormack Public Adjusters has been serving our neighbors in Stoughton for many, many years, and as a town bordering Brockton, we spend quite a bit of time in Stoughton.
Stoughton, as part of the Boston area, experiences the crazy fluctuations we all do here in New England. In May of 2013, Stoughton was actually hit by a tornado! But, unlike the winter of 2015 and the spring of 2018, the tornado did relatively little damage. Stoughton suffers pretty much the same as we all do thanks to New England weather.
We are happy to help our customers in Stoughton get through the claims process with the settlement they are entitled to.
Founded in 1713, Stoughton is older than the United States. Originally part of Dorchester, the newly founded Stoughton included the current towns of Sharon, Canton, and Avon. It covered quite a bit of area until those towns separated from Stoughton over the next 180 years. Originally an agricultural center, Stoughton later became known for shoe manufacturing much like its neighbors Brockton and Randolph. Stoughton is home to many historic buildings including the train station built in 1888 from stones from a quarry that belonged to a Stoughton resident.
Stoughton is located in Norfolk County and is home to about 27,000 people. Stoughton is conveniently located between Providence, RI and Boston, and is convenient to Routes 24, 93, and 95. Stoughton also has access to bus transit from Brockton and has an MBTA Commuter Rail station. This makes Stoughton a very desirable place to live.
