Robert L. McCormack Public Adjusters has been serving Sharon for many, many years and we spend quite a bit of time there.
Why Is Public Adjusting Necessary in Sharon?
Sharon experiences the same weather deviations we all do here in New England. In the winter of 2015, Sharon and the surrounding towns of Canton, Walpole, Foxboro, Mansfield, Easton, Mansfield, and Stoughton, experienced blizzard after blizzard and all the resulting damage including ice dams and fallen tree branches. In March 2018, Sharon was hit by three Nor’easters in quick succession starting with Winter Storm Riley. Trees fell on houses, roof shingles blew off, and homes flooded due to widespread power outages.
We have been happy to guide our clients in Sharon through the insurance claim process, whether it is weather-related or not, for over forty years.
A Little More About Sharon
Sharon is a beautiful town in Norfolk County and is steeped in Revolutionary War history. The townspeople of Sharon manufactured cannonballs and cannons for the Continental Army at a local foundry. Revolutionary War heroine Deborah Sampson lived in Sharon. And two churches in the center of Sharon have bells manufactured by Paul Revere. Sharon is home to Lake Massapoag which is a popular recreational site for the residents and visitors.
Sharon has about 18,000 residents. There is an MBTA commuter rail stop in Sharon on the Providence/Stoughton line. Sharon is 25 miles from Boston and 27 miles to Providence, RI. Right off route 95, Sharon is accessible to both of these cities.
