Robert L. McCormack Public Adjusters, Inc. has a deep connection with Quincy. Quincy was Bob’s first home when he got married and started out as an adjuster. It’s also where the family was living when Suzanne was born. Bob’s parents lived in Quincy for several decades. We love spending time in Quincy because it reminds us of the old days.
Why Is Public Adjusting Necessary in Quincy?
Quincy experiences the same weather variations we all do here in New England. In 2015, Quincy and the surrounding towns of Milton, Braintree, Weymouth, and Hull, and the city of Boston, experienced record snowfall and all the resulting damage. In spring 2018, Quincy was hit by three Nor’easters in quick succession. Trees fell, roof shingles blew off, and homes flooded. Quincy’s proximity to the ocean also creates particular insurance claim issues.
We are happy to guide our clients in Quincy through the insurance claim process, whether it is weather-related or not.

Quincy takes up about 26.9 square miles, 37% of which are water. First settled by Europeans in 1625, it was incorporated as a city in 1888. Quincy, sometimes referred to as “The City of Presidents,” is the birthplace of Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams. Quincy’s earliest industry was granite mining and provided the granite for the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown. Quincy was also a very important shipbuilding center. In the 20th century, Howard Johnson’s and Dunkin’ Donuts were both founded in Quincy.
Located in Norfolk County, Quincy not only has direct access to Route 93, it also has four stations on the MBTA red line, one Commuter Rail station, and myriad buses. Quincy boasts beautiful beaches, golf courses, Blue Hills Reservation, and a vibrant downtown. We are sure that these features keep the 94,000 people that live in Quincy happy.
