Canton, less than 10 miles from our hometown of Brockton, is a place Robert L. McCormack Public Adjusters has been serving for many, many years. We serve many, many clients in Canton.
Why Is Public Adjusting Necessary in Canton?
Canton suffers the same weather variations we all do here in New England. In 2015, Canton and the surrounding towns of Dedham, Milton, Norwood, Randolph, Sharon, Stoughton, Westwood, and Hyde Park experienced record snowfall and all the resulting damage. In spring 2018, Canton was hit by three Nor’easters in quick succession. Trees fell, roof shingles blew off, and homes flooded. We have been happy to guide our clients in Canton through the insurance claim process, whether it is weather-related or not, for over forty years.
A Little More About Canton
With about 21,000 residents, Canton is only 20 miles south of Boston and just over 30 miles north of Providence, RI. Both Boston and Providence are directly accessible from Canton via the MBTA commuter rail which makes it an excellent place to live if you work in either of those cities. Incorporated in 1797, Canton is named after the city of the same name in China. Canton lies at the foot of the Blue Hills, a beautiful area for hiking, picnicking, and skiing. Currently, the home of the corporate headquarters for Dunkin’ Donuts, Canton was the location of the first copper rolling mill built by Paul Revere himself. The pot-belly stove was invented in Canton.
